LOANSHOCK is a unique interactive visual novel that features a complex narrative system. Set in a dystopian future somewhere in Southeast Asia where "monsters" are somehow normalized into society, you'll find this game rather bizarre in terms of atmosphere, vibe, and overall appeal. Spoiler: More You take the role of Fae, a 22-year-old college girl who found herself taking a job in the province as part of her course program. Her job is the teller in a mysterious lending shop in an obscure part of town in the province. Apparently, a long-forgotten family relative owns this shop, which is why she got it in the first place. Not long after settling, Fae discovers that the town is something she only read in fiction. Soon, she encounters clients of all sorts, all of whom exhibit bizarre characteristics such as having only a single eye or severed torso. What could be happening in this town?

TLDR: As this is still a demo, there is still much that can be done to save this, but for now this 'game' has nothing interesting other than some great artwork. ● Barebones gameplay with zero direction or guidance. ● Is extremely buggy. ● Not much of an engaging story. (for now) ● The art is quite beautiful and unique tho. ● Love the character designs.

"Papers, Please", but I'm confused. This game has a lovely art style, but that's about it. The character design is great, but little is done to give the characters depth. They're just introduced, say basic things, and then an end-of-the-day flashback occurs where you learn a tiny smidge of who they are. The game feels like it's trying to be mysterious at the deficit of the user. It ravels all these big questions on the backstory of the town, your family, yourself, the borrowers, etc, but this just makes me confUSED. And the loaning in the game is so bizzare, there's nothing to serve as a baseline or guide; just a haphazard "Alright, here's a customer. Now guess". I thought I was doing well, but at the end of the day it said that I only satisfied 1/7 customers; and even then I had no idea what I did right or wrong! I only played for the first 15 minutes, but there wasn't any adult content aside from a side remark that one of the borrowers was a prostitute. Just boring to play. TL;DR The most beautifully drawn, boring money lending simulator. Play if you want to be riddled with questions, not to be horny.

Not completed, it's just a demo. Text boxes kept disappearing. Game is a Visual Novel with some minor choice based elements. The gameplay is kinda nonexistent, the loan system isn't consistent and feels like you're grasping at straws as to what loans to give. Pass.

The game is stated to be a finished one but at the 'end' fo the game it says TO BE CONTINUED, in fact you can reach it within 10 minutes if you are a faster reader. The game is also quite buggy, depending on the bugs you get, the game freezes or no text block is being shown so you can't proceed or at least get to know what has been said. This game has/had potential with the implied possible storyline and art style.
